Glasgow-based band OneDay40, who recently reformed, have confirmed the release of their first ever Christmas song. “Wherever You Are (Happy Christmas)” will be released to digital platforms on Monday 1st December 2025.
Billy says “We put this together for a bit of fun after we finished the studio process on the new album. It’s a bitter-sweet Christmas song – I had a difficult relationship with Christmas for many years after a December bereavement but my family have sorted that out for me now. Hence the slightly provocative take on the season”.
John added “It’s been a good diversion from the responsibilities of the new album, and I like the way the song recognises that the spirit of Christmas is often lost in the reality”.
